To be eligible for a K-12 scholarship you have to meet the following criteria: Student must attend a private school located in Allegheny County. Effective July 1, 2013, the base family income for eligibility is $75,000 and $15,000 for each dependent as defined by the IRS living within the same household. Family Choice Scholarship Fund of the PA Family Institute (Potential Opportunity)

Families with one dependent child must make no more than $90,000 a year with an increase of $15,000 allowed for each additional dependent child. Enrollment has not opened yet. Check website for open enrollment date. Application fee of $30 Apply at myfamilychoice.org
Bridge Educational Foundation (Potential Opportunity)

Jubilee Christian School has submitted a formal request to this foundation to be considered for scholarship support. Once JCS learns that scholarship funds have become available through this foundation, we will inform the school body to the application process.

To be eligible, the student must live in a household with an annual income no greater than $76,350 plus $15,270 for each dependent member of the household. Visit above website to download/print and application.
JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT –Achievement Scholarships
This scholarship is available to students who reside within the attendance boundary of a low-achieving school. To find the list visit www.pde.state.pa.us and follow the link for Opportunity Scholarship Tax Credit Program.

Families are encouraged to explore potential scholarships and assistance on their own through internet searches or through your church or employer. You may find other opportunities specific to your circumstances that your family could qualify for.
If you are interested in submitting an application for tuition assistance with any of the foundationslisted above or with any organizations you have found on your own, it is the responsibility of the parent to do so. Should you be awarded tuition assistance from any foundation, JCS will assist with applying payments towards your tuition account.
