Communication Updates. Keeping you in the know!
We hope you are having a wonderful, fun and relaxing summer! Before you know it, we will be back at school. It’s hard to imagine now but, rest assured, the Faculty, Administration and Board of Trustees are already working hard to make sure the 2023-2024 school year is our best one yet!
In the spring, we distributed an End of Year survey and most of you responded. One request that was consistent throughout the surveys was the desire for increased communication. We heard you and are introducing more ways to distribute information, address concerns and answer questions.
First, we are rolling out this newsletter! The Board of Trustees will try to keep you updated on any issues or developments.
Second, we welcome you to join our private Facebook page just for currently enrolled families. The name of the page is “Jubilee Christian School Parents and Families”. If you cannot locate it, please friend Koran Bragg, Chad Bragg or Chris Cratsley on Facebook and one of us will send you an invite to that private page.
Lastly, you are always welcome to reach out to a current Board Member with questions or concerns. Jubilee is a parent run school so we are here to work with you to create the best environment for all of our children.
Ashley Creasy – Board Nominee
Meet our newest Board of Trustees nominee, Ashley Creasy! We love Ashley and know you will too. Please read her bio. In two weeks, we will send out a ballot so you can vote on her nomination.
My name is Ashley Creasy and my husband, Brett, and I have been a part of the Jubilee family for 5 years. We have four kids: Jack (16), Levi (14), Beckett (9) and Kinsley (3). Levi and Beckett attend Jubilee and it has changed our lives for the better. I am a stay-at-home mom and I am able to be very present and involved in Jubilee. Well, as much as I can be with an active 3-year-old! My boys have grown and matured at Jubilee and learned so much from such an early age. The things that they have learned, such as public speaking and a compassion for others, will benefit them in the future. I cannot say enough good things about this school and the teachers! All I can think of is “Family”!
Work Day: Thursday, July 13 – Let’s work together to make Jubilee Shine!
We are having a work day at Jubilee Christian School on Thursday, July 13th from 10am to 2pm. Bring your buckets, paint brushes, sponges, paint rollers and your smiling face and help us get the school ready for the 2023-2024 academic year. Some of the items on our checklist include: paint the hallways, clean and repair blinds, scrub chairs and desks, paint classrooms, small repairs throughout the school and general cleanup. If you are unable to attend this work day, we will be scheduling another in August to complete the necessary tasks.
We are also hoping to have another car wash this year…last years was a blast!
REMINDER: Each Jubilee Family is required to volunteer 4 hours per month during the school year in accordance with your enrollment agreement. Volunteering at one of the work days and/or car wash counts toward that requirement!
Reveille Men’s Breakfast
Don’t forget about the Men’s Breakfast on Saturday, July 15th from 8:00am to 9:30am. Men of all ages are welcome to attend at Mt. Lebanon Evangelical Presbyterian Church. Please register at: adamsquest.org/events/reveille
